That saying
From somewhere
At the moment.
I cannot recall
It is a simple notion
Of wanting to be
A better person
With someone
Spurring one on.
When you have
Been down
For so long
When you have
Felt hopeless
That change
Was impossible
Someone comes along
And in your brain
A figurative light goes off
And you want
What they have
Or better yet
What they want to give
But it is only available
If you change some things.
Hopefully it will be
Like a chemical reaction
A chain of events
Set into motion
Moving toward a goal
Of reemergence
Into normalcy
Into society.
You think I am kidding
Nope I am dead serious
A life can be so disconnected
That it really does need
To be jumpstarted
To be resuscitated.
Yes to become
A better person
When all is said
And done.
Wouldn't that be grand?
Where do I sign up?

I don't want to feel
These feelings
For they have
Nowhere to go
There is no outlet.
Unrequited love
Is painful
But is it necessary
To get over it
And let it go before
It eats away
At your soul.
I am being vague
Because it happens
Time and time again.
Just when I think
I am over a man
Another comes along
Wrecking havoc
With my equilibrium.
Those loving feelings
Reemerge
With a new subject
Ever hopeful
That this
Will be different
And my love
Will be returned.
But that proves
My wishful thinking
Wrong once again.

I want love.
Such an emotion
I wish it were free

Is beyond
My capability.

The price is beyond me
And remains astronomical.
I will just say

One to beg.
I have some pride

Inspiration come to me
Let it come
In something I read
Or see.
If literature makes the case
So be it
I will give thanks
And dedication.
Like Jane Eyre
Or Madame Bovary
Mystery or ennui.
Like the Scarlet Letter
Or Great Gatsby
Sacrifice and the costs
Of a love that is unhealthy.
Modern day eroticism
Is open open open
For our eyes
To visualize
And enthusiastically embrace
Our sexuality.
I wrote this in response to another blogger's post. MulleenofMelb He is an absolute gem of a poet. Seriously if you have not read his blog posts of his poetry, you are missing out. I am not a of his work so much as I want others to see that BlackSexMatch.com has an extraordinary writer of poetry among it's bloggers.

Chatting with someone new.
I have to accept
That is something
You will do.
It had to happen
Sooner or later
For you are
In search
Of a partner.
I am just too
Far away.
We had a great rapport
But still we held each
Other at arm's length
We seemingly were
On our best behavior
Even though we were

It is just life!

Shocking Revelation Of Where Our Profiles Are Located

So today I get a message from someone who is local to me. He revealed that he is seeing my profile on a site called Fuckbookofsex.
Are people aware that our profiles are on this site? I mean it is exactly like BlackSexMatch.com. I know the international version of BlackSexMatch.com is called Passion for some folks but that site Fuckbuckofsex is not the ideal thing for some of us women who do not want to be seen as just looking for sex. I am not trying to be a hypocrite but I am not here for just anyone with a dick. LOL
Have you encountered this issue and are there other sites our profiles show up on unbeknownst to us?
