I recently noticed you accepted my friend request of about 10 months ago, so I started an email only to discover you didn't remove that restriction! Just wondering what was your point? I am happy you included me in your friends circle again and are in mine. Perhaps you might yet have a change of heart about communicating with me once again. All the pics I have of you still stir up my positive emotions for what never happened. Perhaps that was for reasons obvious to you but which I can only presume. My profile status speaks about what I am looking for, my profile states in detail. I continue to be hopeful because that is part of my character. I still value honesty and loyalty though I know all humans are imperfect in those areas, myself included. I hope you read this and are convinced to lower your barrier that has separated us for so long. I still care 'T'!

I stopped my Gold Membership within the last two months and had 2866 points accrued when I did. This week I sent an email to a local lady at the cost of 200 points. Excited when she replied back quickly I opened my mailbox and clicked on her reply. Whatever she wrote was out-of-focus and my email copy to her was also out-of-focus. So I called tech support who kindly informed me since I was now a standard Member I could no longer send an email to another standard member for 200 pts/email. Further that standard member would not be able to read my 200pt paid email and could not reply to mine! That despite the fact the site states otherwise under the point system. I was informed that this change occurred about a year ago! The insult is despite what they advertise and what they told me they still deducted the 200 points. What a useless policy and false advertising, please take note! Makes one wonder if even as a Gold Member the emails one sends really ever go anywhere and if entire site is a sham. The text below is from the "Features and Prizes" tab on the Points system.

A Chinese proverb about Cock, Rump and Pussy.

"Rather be a cock's head than a bull's rump." (Two interpretations follow.)
or
Better be the head of a cat than the tail of a lion.
or
It is better to reign in hell than serve in heaven.

The last interpretation may be a bit much and disagreeable to some!

"Let's Talk About Sex"

This 2009 documentary compares American attitudes of sex with respect to raising our with other countries, primarily European nations. It addresses sex education, parental involvement, cultural taboos and myths, STDs, relationships, pregnancy rates, discussion of sex at home, in church. It is informative, not dry (there is even a "South Park" segment shown). Basically though it exposes us for being a nation of people who take no responsibility for our sexual behavior, we talk a better game than we are prepared to play. I'd like to think there is hope for us and that our Puritanical history will not condemn us to continued sexual ignorance and irresponsibility. Considering the nature of this site I'd recommend it for anyone, even your . Note: I viewed this on HULU.com, the free version. You can just do a search on HULU with the title to find it.

"The Zero Theorem", (2014).

A very entertaining story, directed by Terry Gilliam (a former Monty Python cast member). It's a colorful tale, not meant to be a laugh a minute, imo. The Zero Theorem, from thermodynamics, is about entropy or chaos in our physical world and the Universe of which we are part. So if you are a math, physics, computer science or IT nerd you may not find this movie strongly related to those disciplines. That doesn't mean you won't enjoy it, I think you will. However, if you are not into those fields of study it doesn't matter, you may still enjoy this story, especially if you are interested in: relationships, love, sex, feeling apart from the rest of the social world, feel overwhelmed by the pace of the workday world as well as on life and technology's impact on us. Are you are interested in knowing the fate of our Universe? That also is addressed. The story starts slowly, so slowly that I was wondering why I was sitting there on a Saturday night when surely all the site hotties were probably seeking me! I've probably got that reversed!

Oh, btw don't look for a Hollywood ending, even though Matt Damon has a recurring small cameo role in the story, remember who directed this film or re-read the first sentence of this blog if your memory is a sieve. I believe many may identify with the main character or know someone they think is like that character.

I saw this movie last night in Tucson, would highly recommend it for the plot and dealing with relationships as well as what it suggests. Lots of coincidences some may have experienced in their own lives and wonder about. The story has been done before perhaps but I very much enjoyed this for its relating to personal experiences of the last 13 months. Some parts of the story were emotionally overwhelming for me for those same reasons. Thankfully, it was a late show with less than 20 people in a large screen, 500-seat theater and I was with no one.

I think many bdsm fans know of this 2013 movie but it is not mainstream far as I know. It may never be mainstream because of the graphic sexual acts in the film. The movie has a plot: the story of Joe (don't know why it isn't spelled Jo) who became a nymphomaniac. This is a two part film labeled "Nymphomaniac, Vol I" and "Nymphomaniac, Vol II"). If you have seen director Lars von Trier's other work you might know what to expect. In general surprise is the character of this film! I saw Vol I on Apr 11 and Vol II on Easter Sunday late. The only other film of von Trier's I've seen is "Melancholia" that deals with the lives of some wealthy people at their party to celebrate the end of the world. However, he has directed some mainstream films:"Antichrist", "Dancer in the Dark"(it stars singer Bjork) and "Breaking the Waves". Guess I'll add them to my list of films to see. Having a passing acquaintance with one member of this site who considers herself a sex addict I thought that was a good excuse to see the movie. However the subject itself was enough to also attract me, too. I love sex, love porn and have an interest in bdsm I want to explore so my reasons were as much about myself as as they were about her. Joe's character is portrayed by Charlotte Gainsbourg who I've recently seen in another movie whose name my memory probably won't recall until after I have sent this blog. Both volumes are currently playing in Tucson at The Loft Cinema, this may be the last week, I'm unsure. This is not a porn film let me be clear, this is a story about Joe's life some told with flashbacks to her childhood. I would hope my acquaintance would also see it (perhaps it can be rented). So I dedicate this blog to her using the first initial of her userid name, "T", and ask that she not be upset with me.

Sleep pattern.

I find time slipping past faster these last five to 10 years, but don't attribute that to aging, a hectic schedule or sleeping a lot more. If anything my sleep pattern is less though eight hours remains my goal. When sleep has been seven to eight hours, deep and dream filled, I wake refreshed and ready for anything. But it's getting that solid sleep that is sometimes the issue. Lately, I find sleep sometimes eludes me. For example, yesterday I awoke at 3:35pm after five hours sleep and having been up for 22 hours prior. Had a very heavy two-hour lifting session last night then didn't go to sleep til 6:30am today only to wake up two hours later feeling not tired. Now it is early evening and I am going along fine, no caffeine or stimulants taken. I don't think my sleep pattern is normal but also I don't think it is too unusual, but I would really prefer to sleep soundly and dream!

Let me leave you with this thought:have you ever wondered about that sayingf a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it does it make noise? Silly right, totally silly I agree. Easy enough to prove just ask the animals, hmmm...well maybe they were hibernating, off elsewhere hunting or on vacation. So that approach won't work will it?

What to do well you could leave a video cam there with a motion detector that would start the cam when a tree starts falling. You already realize what the bloody problem is now. How do you know what tree is going to fall so you can position the cam and record the tree's impact AND the NOISE. Alas you don't so unless you are exceptionally talented at mind reading trees you are not going to record the fall or the noise.

So all this still begs the silly questionf a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it does it make noise? Ever see videos of explosions being detonated, no one is around for safety reasons of course, but the cam is there and if the audio is on you will hear the explosion, right? So enough of this silliness, but look I created another blog! Now if someone will only read it.

Forks and choices.

Sometime we encounter a fork in the road of a relationship we are pursuing. Why then is it some will take the fork of least resistance while others choose to hang on? How do we know when it is time to move on if we do hang on? Those seem reasonable questions most people eventually answer. How long that process is varies with each person. We think we are making the right choice in the face of the obvious but may still have deep attachment and longing for what seems impossible. There will always be others with advice to offer us and some of it may be difficult to accept because it isn't what we want. They will always see our situation through their eyes and yet no matter how accurate they may be still they are not us. The final choice, right or wrong, will usually be ours. It's possible we may never know if we made the right choice especially if it has to be made with little or no supporting input.

Attitude

The author of Attitude is Charles Swindoll. This was given to employees of a well-known national pizza chain by the franchise owner. I have kept it all these years prominently displayed at home where I can periodically be reminded of its critical message.

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our Attitudes."
