I suspect that Andrew's "bring the love back" will be about as effective as the Texas Governors promise to stop all r**e so exceptions to a certain law are not needed. If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

Copyrighting is always a big subject of discussion in my photography club. The way I understand it (in over simplified terms) is "if you snapped the shutter, you own the copyright", but registering it is another matter. MOST of the semi-pros in the club watermark their images and then just consider it free advertising if someone steals it to post elsewhere. Great post! It's too bad those who daily (often multiple times) break copyright laws on here may not read this, pause and rethink their actions. We can hope the 'new and improved' community will live up to the hype.

I have been watching this whole thing play out on here. I could almost write a book about what goes on within the cam sites. I moderated rooms since way back before tokens existed and have about seen it all. DMCA works but there are still people who work around it, screen capping andposting broadcasts etc.. I only moderate (babysit) a few camgirls these days, not like in the past where it was nearly a full time job. Pictures posted on here could easilly be tracked and these people who spam major blog posts of images all day are just asking for trouble. The only way that they are getting away with it is that the blogs here are kind of tucked away on the corner of the internet. Sooner or later the images shared that are incripted with trackers will catch up with them. It's just a matter of time. If I post images here, I make sure they are clean and not digitally encripted with trackers etc... Like I say, sooner or later the mega image sharers just may get caught.... 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜𝕤 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕪𝕠𝕦

Anyone who believes that what they post will be private is uninformed. It might be illegal, but people do it, as you've noted. Further, hackers get ahold of information and propagate it across the internet, or worse, use it for extortion. I will not post a nude of me with my face, nor will I post a face pic here, at all. If I hope to meet then I will send it direct to the potential date via cell phone.

If there's only one person working the kitchen, taking orders, and seating patrons — ya think they'll have the time to clear the tables and sweep the floor? I worked as a photographer for a lot of years, and it used to really bother me when I'd find my own photos re-posted on forums, as a derivative part of someone else's work, or even with other people's copyrights watermarked on them. I've spent a lot of effort over the last few years doing everything I can to remove images that I own the rights to off other people's websites and forums, and often the effort isn't worth it. As a result, I no longer share any digital copies of media I create. It's too bad. I feel like your story is a a big win for content creators, though. Congrats!

A lot of people seem to think that because an image is "on the internet" it is free for commercial use. Same goes for videos and music too. But that's obviously not the case. Like you say, it is difficult for the owner of the material to keep track of and control where their work is used. And it is probably just as difficult to get something removed that shouldn't be there. Plus proving to the site that you are the real owner/creator of that material.

one the active bloggers sent me a text that my private mail box was open for full view... i couldn't quickly just delete the few messages and deleted the entire post. then i found out i had to also delete the post in community. i try as much as possible to use my own content graphics. sometimes i use random internet images. but it does unnerve me when someone reposts my personal photos. i am off IG and just share my photos with a few friends on the bookface. which, yes, i know is not fully private.
