I have. It was a little sting followed by a very quick electric shock-like feeling and then numb. The amount of time was no more than a second.

Princess, perhaps a consultation w/Dr. Jeff in the stairwell would ease your mind?

Fingers crossed (pun intended) you'll be fine, and do discuss your antianxiety options w/the MD.

I had hand surgery several years ago and they did an axillary block into the nerve in the underarm area. I was already floating from Demerol and a Valium drip and never felt a thing. Stay positive
