Sitting at my computer pondering things...
How do most people accrue points? Do you buy them? Do you earn them by spending time on CAM? It used to be it was fairly easy to earn them but now it seems to take a significant amount of time and energy.
Would love to hear peoples thoughts!

You have to jump through countless hoops for a handful. Better to just pay-to-play and save yourself the aggravation and time.

Click on the points you have (upper right) it tells you how you can accrue points

Commenting on blogs looks like it’s one of the few ways to earn points

points used to be given out for writing, blogging, or adding photos, but all the site does now is eat them like playing a game of Pacman

I've got lots of points but I don't know how I got them! I haven't earned any points in the last couple of months but I've been doing exactly the same on the site as before.

It’s difficult to get points. Better way to chat in group chats.
Joint or create a group and chat with those members

All of the above. I just learned that the site takes a percentage if one does not log in daily, and whenever a tip is given, the site takes a percentage of that too. A cammer told me the best way to tip is thru the cams, the person gets most of the tip that way. Being on the site for several yrs...i had amassed some points from the old ways....answering questions on profile...commenting on blog etc..answering mail. I think all those avenues have changed. Its harder to get them and the site eats em when we get them. Many things around here have changed. Which is why there are bloggers who have point giveaway lotteries~

I did know that the site takes a large percentage of points both from tipped points or the "gifts" option as I have used both in the past. I guess I just didn't realize how significant it had gotten until really looking yesterday. |

Gave up on that ages ago. The time before time. It all became too complicated, limited, and time consuming.
