Thanks For The Banter. A Poem It's so playful And juvenile It does not fail To make the smile. Our banter And flirting Not sure if it Will ever Amount to anything. But it's fun. It's heady It is distracting But in a good way. And I am interacting! It wards off The loneliness For the time being. So thank you partner For the banter. You find yourself living in a futuristic society where choices are made for you, by the government. They have matched your intellect, values, beliefs, religion, body type, sexual desires and fantasies and personality trait with a man of similar attributes and features. In theory... you are a perfect, match for each other. Yet... you've never met. You have the choice... to either accept that society's rules and live with this man, you've never met... Or... be banished to an (civilized and industrialized) island... for the rest of your life, where millions of other people, have also refused, that society's forsed assignment. As a long time blogger, I see that not much changes of the years...the good things...not just the bad or annoying. Wrote this short blog quite a few years ago. Give It To Me Good

I'm just a big kid at heart myself. I enjoy banter, a laugh or a joke. It's actually good for our health. I'm one of them less serious folk.

Thank you for the thinking exercise. I am not sure what I would accept. There was this show on TV last year called The Crossing. The folks in the future had people chosen for them. The star of the show had a choice to save a baby and her mate did not agree with her and reported her to the authorities. Talk about lack of loyalty. Another example is that of "trophy wives or Stepford wives." I am not one to accept being ruled by someone. LOL I like security but I would balk and could choose isolation. Arranged marriages in the past...I am not sure I am from a long list of them. I think more so...opposites attracted in my heritage. My Grandfather was a 6 foot plus red hair Scotsman and my Grandmother was 5 foot with Welsh, Swedish and Norwegian roots. My other Grandfather was English and Irish and my Grandmother was French Canadian. Although My great great Grandparents(French Royers) were cousins of some sort.
