It's a Fucking Axolotl FFS!
It's a Fucking Axolotl FFS! Lately, I've been writing about some subjects that are a bit controversial. To be clear, I don't expect everyone to agree with me. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, just as entitled to mine. I live for spirited debate and will concede, should someone make a well reasoned counterpoint to my position. But my last entry, which had to do with statistics on what Americans believe in, got more than its share of 'hate '. Strange, considering I didn't throw in a ton of opinion, instead regurgitating facts and statistics. Despite how much dying to turn the tables and the overly sensitive dump supporters snowflakes, that's not what I want to highlight here. We've all seen the the 'What do you think?' on the side of each comment, allowing you to agree or disagree. Most every comment critical of our former president had at least one disagree, while those that insulted me had at least one person agree. Believe it or not, that doesn't bother me. However, what really fucking pisses me off is that someone clicked disagree on my comment 'Axolotl can regrow the same limb up to 5 times'. How the fuck can you disagree with a well documented fact, you moron? It's a cute little thing that hasn't done anything to you. You can disagree with me all you want, but you do.not.fuck.with.the.amphibian. |

Axolotls have both lungs and gills.

Was wondering what happened to your last post...removed or purged??? Not that it matters. Anyhow, thought it was well written.

Their gills are the frilly appendages at the sides of their heads. And they have the cutest little smiles! I also found an article that said they can grow back limbs more than the 5 times. "Professor Stephane Roy of University of Montreal explained to Scientific American: You can cut the spinal cord, crush it, remove a segment, and it will regenerate. You can cut the limbs at any level—the wrist, the elbow, the upper arm—and it will regenerate, and it’s perfect. There is nothing missing, there’s no scarring on the skin at the site of amputation, every tissue is replaced. They can regenerate the same limb 50, 60, 100 times. And every time: perfect." That's damned impressive!

Oh....and for the record, that wasn't me that disagreed on your previous post about the Axolotl regrowing limbs up to 5 times. That prompted me to do some research and I found the part about them being able to regrow limbs more than that.

If you are talking about animals, let me give you my spin on the Elephants and Donkeys. The Elephant : Intelligent. Yes, they have been getting away with lots of shit over the past four years. If any of us common folk would try to pull any of that shit we would be in prison, probably for the rest of our lives. No pardon either. Big, Strong, Stubborn. Yes, do not disagree, oppose or say no to them or they will stampede you over and never look back. The Donkey: Beast of Burden. Yes, they always let others lead them around and to carry the load. I consider them more of a Jackass ,though, for letting the Elephants do what they want, when they want, with no consequences. And just to let all the haters know, I am neither a Donkey or an Elephant. In my opinion, we should get rid of all 535 of the ASS HATS and start all over again. As for your next animal to blog about, can I recommend the dodo. There seem to be millions of them in this country!!!

I turned that part off on my blog, one less thing to worry about. I'm usually writing about my own thoughts, feelings, and experiences, if someone is going to disagree with me, I'd like to hear a reason why in a comment as opposed to a rating system on the side of the post. I had to look this one up, I've never even heard of an axolotl! I learn something new in the blogs EVERY day!

Look up pangolins and use something about them in one of your posts. Or maybe an aye-aye. Those poor tiny little guys are butt-ugly and not something you want to pet! I love google and being able to look up anything I can think of or has caught my attention and I want to know more. I don't have a huge library available for browsing so google is great! I had seen axolotls before (sadly not in person) and find them fascinating. They're also critically endangered.
