Remove Before Flight Remove Before Flight If you visit a general aviation airport, you are likely to see bright red streamers or tags emblazoned with the phrase Remove Before Flight dangling from some airplanes. The streamers will be attached to various gust locks or instrument inlet covers to protect the plane's parts from strong winds. They are, obviously, supposed to be removed before the airplane is flown. Sadly, this doesn't always happen. Pilots have been known to take off with control surfaces locked in place and inoperative instruments. You can buy the markers from most aviation vendors. A subculture of products has developed over the years. Applying a humorous and sexy twist to the principle, Remove Before Flight, has now been emblazoned on a variety of pieces of clothing. It started with t-shirts but quickly spread to other, sexier garments. Now, a brief internet search can find these safety instructions printed on booty shorts, panties, thongs, nighties, and yoga pants. |

As a pilot, I've considered making these my trademark gifts to playmates. I love the storyline for dates that could be prompted by these garments. I'd love to gift some sexy things to a lady and have her want me to follow the printed instructions.
